The most important part of your walk with God
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18)
You know, I’ve always tried to skirt around this aspect of my Christian walk. Let’s be real, a lot of times the last thing you wanna do is devote time in prayer. Really. Waking up in the morning, often times what I think is not, “GOOD MORNING,
LORD!!! NOW I’M GOING TO WAKE UP AND SPEND THE FIRST HOUR OF MY DAY PRAYING AND READING YOUR WORD! WOOHOO!” No. Instead I’m thinking, “Oh my goshhhhhhhhhh, why the hell am I awake? MOAR SLEEP PLEASE!” I like devoting the first bit of my day seeking God, but like, straight up I’d really rather sleep in. And I’m sure none of you are so spiritual and holy that you wake up every day psyched to spend some time in prayer. Seriously.
However I cannot stress enough how important spending time in prayer is to us.
God created us as three part beings. We have
Sometimes we wonder if God knows what He’s doing, and question why He’s doing it. Sometimes we ask why He’s letting us go through something that makes us feel like we’re breaking down. But don’t fear! When God is in control, a minor breakdown means a huge breakthrough is coming your way if you just believe it.

That Which Cost Me Nothing
King David is my favorite man of God from the bible. So while watching a preaching by Darlene Zschech from Hillsong United about worship, my ears perked up when I heard his name. I would like to tell you all of a really wonderful story found in 2Samuel 24 and how it relates to the way our hearts need to be in order to worship our God.

Feeling like your life is going nowhere?
We’ve all been in that very same spot. You sit around asking yourself where your life is headed in all this swim of school stress, boring nights in, and empty conversations with people about whatever’s mildly interesting. Some of you, like me, have probably been in the situation where school just isn’t going too well for you. Maybe some of you are highschool dropouts or people who have switched their majors more times than you’ve switched your shirts. Maybe a lot of you feel like you don’t have a talent, the smarts, or much of anything to lean on.
Well, did you know that God has a plan for your life? I know I know. Some of you are shaking your head in disbelief saying, “God? A plan? For ME? No no. I don’t think God created me with any kind of purpose.” I’m happy to say that you’re wrong. Here’s the proof:

Hello tumblr! This is this site’s first post, and I’m very excited for what’s to come with this blog. First and foremost I’m creating this blog to teach and to encourage you in your walk with God. I don’t know who you are or what you’ve been going through, but there’s a God who loves you and is in control of your life right now. Right now! :D
